It was difficult to judge on the forums before the AFK kick was put in, because the abusers weren't creating their own threads about it and weren't really saying anything at all (they were too busy abusing it and didn't want to draw attention to themselves).

Now that they can't abuse it anymore, they're screaming bloody murder about it, lending satisfaction to those of us who knew this problem was much bigger than everyone fully realized. It was a huge problem, and SE solved it appropriately.
