How to go to Camp Bald Knoll?

Camp Bald Knoll is no longer in the game (as of patch 2.0). It used to be west of Camp Skull Valley in Western La Noscea.

Yeah, a lot of the old aetheryte camps from 1.0 no longer exist or were abandoned, due to the old aetheryte system being destroyed during the Calamity, and the ones that still do, have been completely changed/moved due to the changed landscape and the construction of new aetherytes, which are much larger than the old model, but are fewer in number.

This is especially shown with Camp Overlook in Outer La Noscea and Camp Revenant's Toll in Mor Dhona - both have the ruins of the original camps still located nearby the new replacements 'camps' (which now are more like towns or villages).

And 2.0 isn't a 'patch' - it's what ARR was originally known as.

Based on what we see around the Sahagin Stronghold, it looks like the ruins of old Aleport are now accommodating the Serpent Reavers. This leads me to assume that Bald Knoll is now very deep in Sahagin Territory.

While I don't disagree Bald Knoll is probably deep in Sahagin territory I'm a little leery about new vs old Aleport.

Based on this old 1.0 map, Aleport is in relatively the same location in regards to Skull Valley.

While current Aleport does seem to be in the right place on the map, the Serpent Reavers' HQ deep in the Sahagin stronghold looks very much like 1.0 Aleport in design, and not something the Sahagin would have built themselves. So yeah, there is that suspicion the original was sacked by pirates, abandoned by Limsa Lominsa and was rebuilt further down the coast, with the original one taken over by the Serpent Reavers. Or at least, that's what it seems to me (it's probably wrong, but does seem very believable either way ).
