Thank you!Every time I have done a primal I always ask who needs a run down on what to do. I do not expect people to research fights they have never done, most people like to learn it by doing it. To me this is more fun so I appreciate it for others. It realy doesnt take more than a minute to inform them of what to expect before walking out of the starting circle. Think of it like avoiding spoilers, I don't want to youtube the entire story of cutscenes before I see them in game.![]()
Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
You were warned.
Cash shop in, TrystWildkey out.

If you use Duty Finder, you lose the right to have a say over the party members. I don't see the problem with lockout when you knowingly choose to take the risk of being put in a group with bad party members.
It's also ridiculous when some DF users leave because there are first-timer, they were a first-timer once too and should have the courtesy of teaching others, just like they were taught once..

I don't particularly care either way, but I just want to make a point that people don't always leave because they don't feel like teaching newer players. I've done some runs, fairly recently, and not even on HM primals, but Brayflox's Longstop. We had an ACN who refused to fight the same mob myself and the tank were currently fighting. To top it off, all the mobs in the pull were marked. We asked him multiple times to fight the same mobs, go in numerical order, etc. He refused the whole time to do as we asked, to the point our WHM (whom myself and tank didn't know) let him die to see if he'd learn. He continued doing things his way. We literally only stayed because we didn't want to leave the healer to have to wait on DF again (And speaking as a WHM, I've had some 30 minute Brayflox queues, so its not instant unless you're a tank or have a tank friend). So yeah, we tried to teach this person, but they refused to listen. So in that case, I agree that its unfair to make people wait if they choose to leave due to ignorance. I personally don't mind a 15 minute wait because I can craft or do something else, but that's just me.

Well I kinda figure if you have to queue for it then you have to deal with all the varieties of people that also queue for it. Want to set the rules then make your own party and you can take steps to make sure everyone knows what they are doing.

What many ppl using DF don't understand that it's perfectly acceptable to wipe at least once or twice. We have to get used to each other's play styles you know. If you can't try for 10 minutes without rage quitting then you seriously need to calm down and stop being in a rush. You'll have to wait 15 minutes anyway, so why not just stay?

I understand that some people don't have the time or patience to help newer players with end game content, there are times when I feel this way too. However the DF is NOT a place for those people. The DF will team you up with whoever is available and next in line. If you use the DF you must accept that you will get newer players and will more than likely wipe a few times. If you do not have the patience to work with those people then stay the hell out of the DF.
As for the lockout time for people who bail I think it is too short, if you are one of those douchebags that take one look at the party and leave I think you should have a 24 hour ban from DF to help you learn that if you aren't willing to work with a random pug then you should not use the random pug finder. Going through and wiping a few times and leaving may not be deserving of a 24 hour lockout but I think 15 minutes is still to short for people in that bracket.
The biggest issue is there is no real penalty for people bailing on groups for no good reason so they do. There needs to be more strict punishment for people like the OP.
"If you kill all the wolves you're gonna have a crap load of bunnies, and by bunnies I mean stupid people."

Based on your complaint above you could solve that issue by typing out 14 words to your party: "Tank Ifrit away from the center and stun eruption and BLM LB on nails"I get frustrated because people que up on DF without researching a single thing. Oh hey I can do ifrit, let's do it. Then you end up with tanks who tank ifrit in the center of the dungeon, blm's who don't LB on nails and cause a wipe, tanks that don't stun eruption .
Ever think that the Duty finder takes so long because there are barely any players up at that level to do hard mode primals and raids? I mean the games been out a few weeks give people time to get up there!

"You left my dungeon and refuse to play with me. You should be punished."
L O L. The only punishment I see is getting tossed into AK for the 5th time with someone still using Stone Vigil weapons. These people aren't ready, and it's not your duty as a fellow player to carry them.
If you wait for someone else to leave first you can freely leave and not have a 15 min cd
