This one. Something with server issues again. Silver lining(yes, I'm trying to be more positive about the game): it's not all night during NA prime time. Though if they do another at 9 pm est I might have a heart attack.

Might want to curl up with a defibrillator with each maintenance then, cause they are not going to be changing the times any time in the foreseeable future, SE is Japanese and they will do maintenance when it is a good time for them in their home region, ie when all their staff are at work during the day.

It's 2 hours long, no need for panic.

Except for the people who like only have 2-3 hours to play in the evening before they have other obligations. Sure. No big deal.

Would you rather play on messed up servers where no one can log in or would you rather see them try and remedy the situation?

Yes, the problems that this game have had so far are pretty ridiculous and far from perfect and in no way am I defending how poorly the launch has gone. However, I'd rather see them try to fix these things and go watch a movie for a couple of hours than see them NOT trying to fix anything. And yes, I am one of the ones who have a very limited amount of time to play in the evenings and if I miss out on an evening because of maintenance, the world will not end.

They don't just decide to have maintenance so that you can be miserable and not play. There is a purpose to maintenance. You act as though someone just sits next to an off switch for the servers just so you can't play, which is childish. You can choose to be selfish and complain that they aren't scheduling maintenance to fix issues while working around your life schedule, or be happy that they are fixing some problems to make the game more enjoyable. This is an MMO and maintenance is what it is and you just have to suck it up sometimes cause it happens whether you like it or not.

I get the disappointment, I've been working like crazy and was excited to finally get back on and play last night.....then it was maintenance. But the angry outbursts don't change the fact that there is still maintenance so....go find something better to do.

JP server is getting the maint that was done on NA/EU this am. they announced it this am and said that the fixes will be done durring off peak hours for the data centers to interfere least with playerbase.

NA playing on JP = your prime time is server down time and likely maintenance time, why NA are supposed to play in NA data centers.
