Hey I dunno if this was brought up in here yet or not but, I just remembered the other day that way back like in beta, Tanaka said the character models for female roegaedyn and male miqo'te were already finished, but didn't have a time frame for when they would be implemented.


Here's and old interview I googled for reference.

A: Well, the character model designs are finished... But further details regarding their implementation have yet to be decided.

So my thought was this: If the models were done a long time ago, why are we just now hearing about new concept art ? Did they decide to scrap those old models ? If so why ? And if there wasn't any models to begin with, then that means Tanaka was a liar. :/

Did SE say "new" concept art? If they did maybe they just meant that it was new to us.. because we haven't seen it before.
I don't remember SE calling it new though.

Galkas gave up their tails so they could mate, and thats where Roegadyns come from :P

I wish they would have given more concept art to look at but it was def nice to see! Hopefully we will see more at the next Youtube live. Im curious about the demi humans and dragons..but for now im leaning toward to switching to male Miqo'te.
