Glowing weapons

I wouldn't minded seeing the flametongue or something of the sort having a slight aura of the corresponding element but just coloring it that color works just fine

I honestly can't see Final Fantasy with glowing weapons like what you guys are describing. Just, no. Every time someone mentions glowing weapons I think of Lineage 2 and Aion.

I honestly liked the over-the-top armors and weapons in Lineage 2. I only got to Blue Wolf Heavy, but I couldn't help staring at it all the time. Would it fit in this game? I don't really know, but the graphics are really good, and I wouldn't mind seeing stuff like that. That's just my opinion tho :/

No to wow style glowing weapons, yes to subtle glows maybe if materia is implemented like ff7 then maybe make the materia appear on the weapon and just make that glow?

I am sure you will see some sort of glowing weapons or weapons with an aura. This will happen. These effects will come into play when one of the jobs/classes is graced with "En" spells. En-Fire, En-Thunder, ect. So for the people that don't want to see this prepare to quit the game .... XD

Well they couldnt be any more unsightly than our current spells.
