Soooo tired of the 90000 bullsh*t

HM ifrit have about 10% and BAM!!!!! 90000 error.... fix this already. Game is getting to be un-enjoyable.

It happens to me at random too. Rarely, but it happens.
And when it happens in moments like you described... it feels horrible.

What does that 90000 error mean anyway ?
I can get it without having any connection issues or lag at the time of the error...

I got that this morning when logging into a mission. Took about 5 minutes before I could log in again.

Happens to me too. Any time, randomly. Sparsely, but it happens. I've tested to see what it could be. It happens to me at home on my pc. It also happens when I take my pc to my friend's house and play on his internet connection, but it NEVER happens to him (or my other RL friends that play).


It also happens when I play on my friend's PS3 at his house.

Some people believe that it is your ISP throttling your connection because it thinks that FF is a P2P client. This may be the case for some, but not in my case, and I suspect not in the case of many others. Here's my reasoning:

I've tried using 2 VPN's to circumvent ISP throttling. Neither of them worked, despite one of them being one that many people have had success with. With both VPN's I still would randomly, sometimes after hours of play, get the 90k error. Also, my connection never slows down; I never see things stand still on screen, there's never any indication that I'm in a lag spike, the connection meter on the top right never gets to 0 received.

Furthermore, I don't get it only during instances or upon entering instances or upon leaving instances. I can get in inside instances, in mid battle, mid boss fight, standing still. I can get it in regular over world zones, in cities, while fishing, while doing fates, while doing crafting, while just chatting with friends, while on a chocobo porter.

I believe that those of us who experience this randomly like I've described have either corrupted accounts and/or corrupted characters. It would explain why I get the 90k at my house on my pc and at my friend's house using his ps3, using his internet, and he never ever gets it, no matter what he does.

I would like to try re-installing the game to see if it fixes it. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow. But I'm pretty convinced it is something entirely on SE's side. Not my PC, not my PS3, not my ISP.

I agree with Alkoun, I also get it completely randomly.... during crafting, gathering etc.

Do not try reinstalling, I personally tried that and it wont help. SE needs and must fix it, otherwise it will still be there forever.
