Please don't let other people in team know. When someone types this out in chat; it usually mean the group is doomed from the start. No one is willing to teach people anything in the endgame. Either read the ign guide, or wing it like I have.

I ask if anyone is new in the dungeons everytime, and if they say they are new, I give a cursory of the dungeon (stalkers in WP for instance) then go over fully what needs to be done on each of the bosses. Best to let the elitists leave so you know to leave if you ever see them again through DF.
Well unlike you ive had people actually willing to teach, then I go with Free Company members as often as I can and usually run the lower level ones with those who need them as well.
Please mention that you are new, instead of causing us all to die at the boss because you don't know what you're doing. I'm happy to explain instead of suffer through several deaths because you won't speak up. Had this problem yesterday.
If it's my first time, I always let people know. Either everyone else will be new as well, or someone will be knowledgeable of it to help the others out. If someone is so arrogant and elitist that they're unwilling to play with people who haven't done it before, then good riddance to them. They shouldn't be in the public queue anyway at that point.
I disagree, OP.
If they don't let people know they are new, they won't know what to do in the various situations. I just ran a dungeon last night with a PUG and two of the four had yet to do it - I was one of those two. Because we spoke up, the other two told us what to expect and what to do. We completed it because we spoke up and we weren't surprised by anything which would have certainly killed us all.
If people are jerks because someone is doing content for the first time, the problem isn't the new person.
Please heal the freaking tank! Don't let the damn tank die, like so many healers I've seen they just let the tank die. This is a bad healer and has no idea of how to heal properly in an mmo. Concentration should be on the tanks, but also dun let youself die in the process.
I'm guessing OP was sarcastic?
I for one got some help when I was a first timer in most dungeons, and now when some people say it's their first time I help them out, I mean you have to be smart about this, if you don't explain you're just going to waste more time
Also follow the tank, if he is not new he'll know what to do but let the tank get the hate 1st healers stay the fuk back!
Whenever I get into a dungeon where it's my first time, I always make sure to look up a quick guide to get a general idea, but then I also let the group know it's my first run through, but I have looked at a guide and if they have any tips/info to let me know. No one in any of the groups gave me any grief, most were ok with it and explained things as we went along.
So I'd have to disagree with OP's statement, be open and honest about your experience in the dungeon, and if you don't know the fight they'll explain it to you instead of letting the group wipe or letting you die because of lack of knowledge of the fight(s).
