I don't believe there is any hate towards bards. Only the fact other classes have a difficulty factor to each one. Brd tends to be one of, if not the easiest to maximize dps with little puinishment. I would add blm is the best dps, but knowing how to use it takes practice unless you like wasting most of your mp on a few skills. What everyone is trying to say is that other jobs are more complex and take understanding. I believe melee jobs really need to know what they are doing. People prefer recruiting brds than taking mnk or drg in any boss fight due to the risk of him dying or not performing enough dps. Its just the way the mechanics are.
