Example: Just tried to duty find another AK run. First thing the tank tells the black mage, who declared they were new to the dungeon as they should, didn't have good enough gear. He had AF and some grand company accessories, which were fine to me, honestly. I've run this dungeon several times with a black mage and we have always managed to clear it without issue. The black mage needed to be run through to even experience the dungeon, so telling him he wouldn't do enough dps isn't even a point to be made until he got to try the fights. We were probably going to wipe a few times, but I wouldn't have minded. However, jerk people will still be jerks. The tank refused to do the dungeon until the black mage left and the black mage was actually going to do so. New-to-the-instance players should not have to be treated this way, to the point of guilt for it being their first time? I got upset and said the tank was a dick and left. As you can see, removing speed runs changed nothing. It's exactly as I predicted in my earlier post. And that was just my first attempt at doing that dungeon since the maintenance!!
