Why are PC players being so stuck up to ps3 players?

I have started seeing shouts now about FC not allowing PS3 players in, just because they don't play on PC, on FFXI this was mainly due to PS2 players not being able to use bots and other cheats to help support there HNM camping.

But what is the excuse here? from what i hear the FATE problem or to many people in general is a problem shared by both systems, so what is this new found hatred other then complete and utter arrogance?

That's ridiculous because I have a FC and we use Raidcall no problem. Because we have our computers/laptops near us. Even still there's voip apps for phones.

Hmm, alot of PS3 players i know still use that, they simply can't run the game on their ps3 but simply use it for chatting with mumble etc. this seems to trival for a reason tho.

This guy that was shouting eariler was simply a complete idiot trolling for attention, but it isn't the 1st time i saw this type of stuff.

Too many people/FATE congestion issues is not similar to PC vs. PS3, unless it's Odin or Behemoth (in which both parties are pretty much screwed). I have a high-end PC that can run this game on Max settings with an average 60FPS unless I'm doing a huge FATE, and on weekends I visit my girlfriend which I use my PS3. The difference is huge. That being said, I function with the same performance level on both platforms in Dungeons, and I never have issues doing my job on DPS or Healer.

I disagree heavily with the mindset that PS3 makes you inferior -- all it really does it handicap you slightly with communication, which, conversely, can be remedied fairly easily.

I've seen general douchebaggery towards PS3 players, but I think it has to do with them being douchebags, not really anything with PC players in general. It just so happens most of the douchebags play on PCs.
