Why on earth did you allow heavy status while mounted?

I can deal with being attacked while mounted, i am not asking for a free ride here, unlike 11 were being on a chocobo you were safe from any aggressive.

But heavy status is quite possibly the most annoying thing to encounter, let alone while mounted. and even further still while going through an area full of aggressive mobs, now as a whm i can just get off, esuna and try again, assuming i am not currently being chased. which is the main reason this is so annoying, i have to wait till they get off of me then remount.

but in some cases i'v even died from to many on me because i can't move due to heavy status..

Seriously, get rid of this while mounted. am i asking to much here?

Maybe you should... get off the mount and kill the mobs if you're having issues. I don't see teh issue really. I attuned to Garuda hard(The Ixal mobs can do heavy) without killing any mobs besides those around the stone. They leash fairly easily.

I don't know why you think you should be able to ride through a set of mobs with no consequence.

It's meant to prevent the player from running past high level mobs. Sometimes you're lucky and don't get heavy, sometimes you do and you die. Punishment for trying to be in an area too high level for you.

It doesn't even happen that often. I've only died from it one time (seriously).
