

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. We're planning to release a hotfix next week that we'll use to address and adjust a few elements.
One of the adjustments regards the regular monsters in level 50 dungeons and how there is currently no reason to defeat them.

Just make "objectives" list - defeat x amount numbers of certain enemies, get certain amount of tomes. And make the Boss battle as the bonus round where it gives additional more tomes that are must be completed to bump up the amount of rewards. This way players have to hunt down the enemies to complete the objectives or it will severely undercut the rewards potential. Also for each objectives completed you get 300 gils, so you end up with 3000 gils per dungeon if you complete all objectives and boss battle. If we have to do the dungeon for twice as long then the reward should be doubled. Also make those mobs drop random end game crafting items for better weapons and random materias tier 3 + 4.Greetings,

Basically make each end game dungeon runs as "multiple levee runs" with gil rewards, item rewards, and additional tomes. You already have the mechanic of these "killed x amount number of enemies" in the game, why not use it.

This better not be something stupid as in the 'hotfix' for AK whereas simply adding a requirement to kill trash to access the boss. Make trash difficult requiring coordination and make it drop valuable items, only then will people not go out of their way to skip it.Greetings,

only hotfix I wanna see is more gil drop on enemies. . I mean in AK u get 1 gil for killing mobs that's just a sick joke to do at lvl 50 I rarelt come out of that place making enough to repair my gear lets do 100 gil per kill .. at lvl 50 that makes sense.. I know that u can make money other ways but some people like me who are fathers and have real jobs don't have the time to make gil other ways in such fashion.

Wonder if we'll see a challenge mode type of implementation from WoW where you have to kill x trash mobs to finish it.
