Please tell me the auto-login "feature" is only temporary

Thats a lie mister. You are either missinformed or very much butthurt, want insta ques roll healer or tank, we all know how badly the comunity needs them, deal with it

And allow me to qualify my first statement a little more: Most, or nearly all, MMOs do not force you to log out after a period of inactivity. I'm sure there are a few that do, but I haven't played them. I've played many MMOs in my days, none of which had a forced auto-logout timer.

Lol alright ill bite, give 5 mmo names that doesnt have the auto kick logout after lets say 30 mins (cause in fact most of them have it kicking olayers out at the 15 mins iddle mark) just 5 i ask.

Except you have yet to make a legitimate complaint. A complaint, sure, but you have yet to back up your rants with why this feature is bad for the game.

The only 'issue' I can see is if you plan on afk-ing while in queue for DF, and if you're doing that it would imply you're going to be nearby to accept the queue once it pops. Thus, hitting a single key once every 29 minutes is not difficult. If the game logs you out under any other circumstance? You spend 15 seconds logging back in and continue playing.

Exactly this. I haven't seen a single reason why I would consider this feature anything but good. If you want to idle in the DF queue, 30 minutes is plenty of time to do something to keep from logging out.
