I think that people who have this game for PS3 should get a free upgrade if they switch to PS4. I play on both PC and PS3 and the quality of game in PS3 is just straight crap. It is do-able do not get me wrong, just saying that instead of making people buy yet another copy to play on an upgraded platform of the one you have seems a bit far fetched. If we are willing to buy the console and have the game that should be enough. I see now way for SE to take a hit financially since FFXI is their top grossing game and you could go cross platform for free. I think this problem should be brought to light and taken into consideration. Thank you

They already announced a while ago that yes, PS3 owners get free PS4 beta access, and the PS3 account can be used on the PS4 as well.

This was announced while everyone was bitching about servers being down for maintenence, upgrades, etc. I understand how it could have been missed. As a PS3 user, I'm actually uneffected by this. I don't want a PS4, and I'm actually down with the 'crap quality' of the game. God forbid somebody be happy with 'shitty graphics'.
