How to earn gils om 50 level?

I run AK, all I get from it is a repair bill. I can sell philo items for sure but the prices are dropping like mad now and I expect in a month or less they will be worth maybe 5k a pop due to lots more people hitting 50, getting full DL shortly there after, and then selling the excess. Once that source of revenue is gone for me, there is nothing much left for a player who is simply not interested in crafting at all. I can't be bothered to try to fight botters and RMT abusers who are controlling the market is the main reason why.

* There are plenty of things to farm where you'll have less competition. Do some research. (skins, furs, blue landtrap leaf for starters)

* Buy items from NPCs to resell on the market. Do some research. (iron ore, cotton boll, etc)

* Leves grant gil

* Spirit bond cheap gear to convert into materia and sell

* Low level gathering and crafting can grant access to massive gil.

* Don't be lazy.

You know what's ironic about your post, if you had just hit 50 on a DoW/M and went into AK, people would bitch at you and tell you to do some research before going into AK. But your post is going to cause some butthurt among some of those same players who refuse to research ways to make their own gil. It's like a starburst, nothing but a contradiction.

If you wanted to be completely self-suficient just by running the same endgame dungeon over and over again, SE might as well just remove gil and trading from the game.

Worked in well, every single other MMO out there that has instances over the 30 years I have been playing this genre so this one must be the exception.

Not really sure what you were expecting. You basically posted "The game doesn't have ways for me to earn gil at level 50 because I choose to ignore the ways to make gil that exist".

If you wanted to be completely self-suficient just by running the same endgame dungeon over and over again, SE might as well just remove gil and trading from the game.

Then like I said, SE might as well just remove gil and trading from the game, and once they do that they can put the final nail in the coffin of gatherers and crafters just because some players refuse to do something else besides spamming the same dungeon all day. SE apparently needs to add welfare to the game.

Who cares about being rich? I just wanna have enough money to barely get by. I want to adventure not tied down to anything. And the only gear I get is the the gear of the enemies I slay or grateful people rewarding me. And honestly being a DoW gives me just enough money to repair and purchase provisions for my quest and not gonna lie a little extra. And that is the way I like it. I came into this world to kill virtual dragons and save damsels in distress. Not to open a general store. I love being poor and mostly love becoming a better swordsman every day. So lets not argue. You won't be rich if you don't take up the trade. And your heart will mourn if you don't see all the cool enemies of eorzea. There is so much to do! I love this game!
