Here's an idea -- those primals you're crying about? Try beating them. Then you can go farm your heart out in the variety of the five coils that drop mythology tokens AND endgame gear at a decent rate. You know... because they're actually ilvl 90 content, instead of the ilvl 60-70 stuff that you're forcing yourself to grind. It would certainly make more sense than asking for more ilvl 90 tokens to drop from ilvl 60-70 content.
It's a grind for you because you're doing it wrong. Yes, the intended progression path set in place by the devs involves killing harder bosses. Yes, it takes time to truly progress because of these skill checks. But that's how these games have always been. Improving a character is gradual, requiring an investment of time before receiving the payoff of growth, with the rate of return on that investment being directly related to the level of the content that you're playing in relation to that of your character.
I hate to be "THAT person" who examines WoW as an example, but to put things into WoW terms... you're basically asking for heroic dungeons drop heroic raid gear instead of heroic dungeon gear, at a point in your character's development when you don't even have the ilvl to enter LFR yet. Just think about how that looks, man. It might give you an idea about why so many people are in an upheaval over your post.
In case you miss the point though: You're asking to make it a faster process to get end-game gear before you've even seen what end-game looks like, but let me ask you this -- what would be the point of having an end-game at all then?
Instead of killing yourself farming Keep for three months straight, try this: Run ilvl 60 Keep until you're decked in the ilvl 60 gear that drops from it, and Ifrit until you get your first good weapon. Once that's done, spend your bank of philosophy tokens on your first ilvl 70 gear and start farming Garuda for your first ilvl 70 weapon. If she gives you too much trouble, spend a few more days running dungeons for philosophy tokens (pro tip: at this point start checking that box to join incomplete runs, and include Castrum and Praetorium, because you already are decked out in ilvl 60 gear and you only care about tokens.) Once you have that Garuda weapon, dump any new philosophy tokens that you got from her on a new piece of ilvl 70 gear if you can, and then take your new Garuda weapon for a spin against Titan. Kill him once at this point, and you should unlock your relic weapon. If at this point you're still not in full philosophy armor, you should at least be close, so you can just fill in your gaps from the AH or run a few more dungeons for the last tokens that you need. With relic in hand and philosophy armor gearing you to the teeth, you're now geared enough for end-game. Now is when you go to the ilvl 90 Coils, where ilvl 90 gear actually drops from bosses, and this is when you start worrying about your mythology tokens. If you spent any already, then you missed the point of their existence -- they're to fill in you gaps during progression through the Coils, in case you get unlucky on drops for a specific gear slot or two along your way through, because boss kills here are limited per week. Bank them until you're near 2000/2000, and then spend them wisely based on where you are in progression. Chances are that reaching the Coils will take far less than 3 months -- anybody you saw on week two running around with a relic weapon has already done all of this, and there were kills of multiple bosses in the Coils as early as week two. You'll find this path, with ilvl 90 gear as actual boss drops in the end, to be much more enjoyable than trying to PUG your way to 100 Demon Wall kills for full mythology gear.
