    GW2 grinding is very different. It is mostly for cosmetic and looks. There are no stats to chase and whatever stats grind you do for dungeons you can get the same from PVP and crafting. So please do not even compare GW2 grind with that of FFXIV which is all about 'raid or quit'.

    In FFXIV best items come from grinding dungeons..period. Good luck sustaining yourself with that kind of end game with P2P model in 2013.

    I agree. If you stick to just one class (and not get distracted)...2 weeks is all it takes to hit 50. The real challenge comes while leveling other classes when there are no side quests, main scenarios and guildhest xp to boost your leveling.

    Well weekly cap is 300 which means I have to grind it up day one. Omg, there goes my whole day... Oh right I have a whole week, I can actualy pace myself and do other stuff.

    Sarcasm aside, I just can't understand why people are outraged for such an obvious exploit being fixed. Unbalanced and exploited dungeons can ruin games if left unchecked for long (GW2 CoF p1 anyone? - not that that was the only thing that ruined it). I for one, am glad they fixed it as promptly as they did - goes to show they care about such issues. Now just to fix some other issues..

    As for gear and spiritbonding. It is more than possible to do AK runs in white 45+ gear. Probably best not with a whole set of such gear but accesories should be good. I started running AK as a tank in AF gear with white 45+ accesories with not issues at all. Worst case you can swap out gear for boss fights. Despite the misconception, AK isn't that much of a gear check.

It's something else to do in the dungeon, would be my point. Just running through for Mythology stones? Yeah... Screw that...
    Why would I want(or be forced) to make the dungeon longer than it should be?

    Because they didn't fix the underlying issues that caused such rampant use of the exploit in the first place - nobody wants to play such a horribly grinding game. Had they addressed the fact that a normal AK run is ridiculously un-rewarding in a time sense, it would have been a great fix.

    I'm pretty impressed how someone can justify killing mobs in this game that drop absolutely nothing.

    Just to face a boss I have done 50 times before-hand.

    Please try to justify.
