Then you can go farm your heart out in the variety of the five coils that drop mythology tokens AND endgame gear at a decent rate. You know... because they're actually ilvl 90 content, instead of the ilvl 60-70 stuff that you're forcing yourself to grind.
It would certainly make more sense than asking for more ilvl 90 tokens to drop from ilvl 60-70 content. It's a grind for you because you're doing it wrong. Yes, the intended progression path set in place by the devs involves killing harder bosses. Yes, it takes time to reach because of this. But that's how these games have always been. Improving a character takes an investment of time before receiving the payoff of growth, the rate of return on that investment is directly related to the level of the content that you're playing in relation to that of your character. You're asking to make it a faster process to get end-game gear before you've even seen what end-game looks like, but let me ask you this -- why would they even have an end-game at all then?
oh, and Ifrit drops 4 Myth tomes lol.
I never really liked the speed runs and they did need to get addressed, but there also need to be more ways to farm mythstones to reduce the tedium of it.
But to be completely honest, AK has sucked for a while with the immense queue times. We started farming Garuda HM for mythstones because we can clear it 5 times for 40 stones faster than we could even get queued into AK in the first place. Garuda HM is more fun than AK too.
Sure, farm your heart out. Once per week.
@Raymeo.
I don't know what you're on about, but primals give you 2 tokens. Or 10. AK gives you 40. So before you tell me to 'farm' primals.. Think about the numbers please.
You haven't been to end game it seems. The primals are nothing. You get your weapons and that's it.. Your relic is easier and better to obtain.
Congrats on the wall though, you missed the point.
THey only drop weapons that are mediocre.
PS: as a warrior you need full DL and some AF to attempt to tank coil.
No mitigation, enjoy.
Ray it seems like you really missed the point. You need to grind keep to be able to cap per week, right?
I can't do coil without full dark light or dark light + some af.
So, that being said it is still a waste of my time to do this run to kill mobs that drop literally nothing.
I don't see much people in upheaval but just people asking why are we killing this shit?
There isn't a point.

				Whatever, mang. Lols.

Keep way not the only way to get myth tokens, it was just the easiest. Once you get into Coil the bosses drop myth tokens. I have been told 50 per boss, I was always capped before I went in so I'm not sure. I could be wrong, but i sounds like OP wanted to get ilvl90 gear the easy way by speed running AK till cap and just running Coil because he wanted to.
P.S You don't need ilvl 90 or full DL to run Coil.

Personally, I'd be fairly happy if they dropped pure gil or allagan pieces; it doesnt have to be a lot, but at least it would be something.
I have to farm?! In an MMO?!
Someone call the presses. This man has discovered his very first MMO.
So, OP, you realize that we're still in the free month period after purchase and the bulk of content is still a distance away. The reason they have Tome Farming instead of loot-chests is to extend the progression rate of the game at a predictable pace. Sure, several people rushed to 50 and blew it out of the water by abusing the system, and naturally they're doing everything they can to slow things back down to the pace they anticipated. This means killing speed-runs and stretching out the tome-farming period. Of course they're making it grindy - you basically have nothing else to do for months.
