Which, unless you're extremely unlucky, should still turn a profit, in which case you've made money, or reduced costs on a Darksteel/Vanya set (which if you're working towards, means tomestones go on Coke/Potash/etc for more Gil, unless your self making, but given your last comment I doubt that). Then again, I don't know your servers economy.
If your servers economy is trash, then I retract my statement. So far though, it seems like nobody is even trying to see a bigger picture with the trash monsters in dungeons... It's just "These drop nothing, so they're worthless", where as they drop EXP for Spiritbinding, which at the very least should be profitable (again, individuals servers may differ). It's something else to do in the dungeon, would be my point. Just running through for Mythology stones? Yeah... Screw that...

there should be chest drops from the trash mobs at least.
If you don't wear proper gear, you do less damage, and the dungeon takes longer. The second they implement a kick function, I am kicking the hell out of anyone I see wearing spiritbond or white gear.
- Don't wear your proper set for trash monsters, wear trash gear to Spiritbind. They're trash monsters, you don't need good gear for them...
- Walk out of the dungeon with your Tomestones, minimal gear to repair (just the Spiritbond+ gear) and convert the rest into Materia.
- ???
- Profit.
You don't have to do anything I suggest, in fact I'd rather people no, since I dislike market competition. You're right though, I'm a straight up moron for walking out of 2~3 Amdapor runs with 50~100k extra pocket change.
Dont know why people play an MMORPG and expect there to be no grind of some description, an MMORPG without grind does not exist.
I taste your tears OP.
The thing is, there's supposed to be a 24-man raid (Crystal Tower) in between this content and Coil. Once it is added to the game, your perception of the grind / gear progression will change quite a lot.
