A simple message saying "Warning: this item is being currently used on insertyoursetnamehere set." would fix the issue. Yeah I support this, but still I don't understand why almost everyone express their issues or concerns like "Omfg SE this is 21st century for gods sake!!".

Polishing a game takes time, a lot of time.

Because you cant even double check and that's your fault? It's your insanity i'm afraid.

are you actually serious? so when im doing leatherworking, and i get a new piece of armour and switch, my goldsmith and weaver are wearing the same gear, i want to get rid of my leather robe but cant tell between the 3 which ive just unequipped because guess what, all 3 are in my armour chest and it doesnt tell me if they are equipped or not, AND the game wouldn't tell me until ive got rid of the wrong piece then tried changing back to leatherworker.......then id get "you are missing a piece, unable to change" all i want is to be able to go oh those 2 robes are being used by a toon i can sell that one, bosh easy peasy no hassle.........but no that isnt the case

Why is anyone selling anything directly from your armoury? - send stuff back to your inventory to sell and use your armoury as safe keeping as intended

Irrelevant. If clothing parts are missing you can still re-equip a set it'll just be missing a piece. The only time this will block you re-equipping an item if if you sell or destroy a weapon, since the weapon is the part that defines the class role. Likewise it's very easy to tell worn items in a set apart from "new" items; worn items will have soul binding and can't be sold anyway. Finally when crafting new gear it is NEVER sent to the armoury but kept in your inventory

Again, why are you even selling directly from your armour panel? :/

This is nothing to do with white knights and fanboyism. The system works just fine, this is strictly a PEBKAC error (As someone who has more ranks in crafting than combat classes, and enjoys trading I'd hope I'd know a thing or two about inventory management)

On the Character tab of the character config menu you can enable filters that will warn you if an item is Unique, Spiritbonded or Meldable when you attempt to sell it, this may help you in future.

Not white knighting. Just think of the armoury as a macro (Which, essentially, it is).
It'd be nice if they added a warning to armoury-linked gear, but it'd repeatedly have to check every set you have when you open a shop. this (Client or serverside) will slow things down. If it's added, neato! If not, be mroe careful. The filter will help, although I'm surprised it's not enabled by default.

What you propose, (gear staying in your armory box while equiped, but highlighted to mark it as equiped) is already being worked on. There was a dev post somewhere basicaly saying they are adjusting the armory system to just that.

Edit: Sorry misunderstood you proposal.. Never mind

Because inventory fills up fast while leveling so it makes better sense to put weapons and armor in armory chest when low on space? yeah... yeah 'the system works fine' heard that many times around here just like how no 'over flow inventory' is also players fault.

This issue has been brough up before.
Basically the problem is once you start to level many classes then it's impossible to remember every piece of equipment that you are using.
A small indication in the form of an icon or outline on gear equipped by any of your classes would go a long way, as well as a confirmation window if you are trying to sell an item that is currently in use by you.

This have already been suggested in the Quality of Life thread where all these suggestions should be to make it easier for the devs to find it.
