    I bet there are a lot of things people do in the world that don't make sense to you. I bet it makes sense to those that do things though.

    Considering that the standard MMO logs out AFK users after 10-15 minutes
    I have played a lot of MMO without a afk timer. Can't actually remember the last time I played a game that had a forced timer in it.

    Heck, a lot of games have AFK area where you can gain exp while afking.

    Have you played any MMOs called World of Warcraft, Everquest2, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, or Lord of the Rings Online just to name a few among many? They all have AFK timeouts.

    Sure have heard of them. FFXI didn't have it, neither do the vast majority of MMORPGs from Asia. I actually believe most mmorpgs comes from Asia now days, so most don't have the kicker.... I think, correct me if I'm wrong.
