Remove auto-logout feature

I support AFK logout because:

1- I'd like to have new people be able to make characters on my server.
2- If you're AFK you should get logged out. There's no bazaars anymore, there's no need to be AFK.
3- If you're AFK in a DF queue, you should either do something in the game while you wait or log the hell out and free up the DF for people who are actually playing.

If you have better things to do then go do them.

1. Being logged in vs. logged out has ZERO bearing on character creation. This is only related to the total number of characters created on the server, period.
2. You have no need to be logged on all the time, that's fine but don't assume you know best.
3. Why do you feel the need to dictate how people spend their time in game?

They need to adjust the auto-logout so it doesn't apply to those in the Duty Finder.

I agree! If your logged out while waiting in the Duty Finder you would have to wait all over again . As we know you can be waiting well over 30minutes.

Since they were targeting the people who leave it on while at work or overnight, an auto-logoff timer of 1-2 hours or more, would make more sense.

Everyone wanted it.

Two weeks ago. Have had zero problems logging in for the past week.

3. Toggle auto-run.

Auto run does not work, you actually need to shove a small piece of paper next to your W key to keep running forward.

A band-aid fix or a diversion for the actual issue that is simply SE's explicit refusal to invest in larger server capacity. AFKers like myself, who learned the hard way of the pains of logging back in, will simply find ways to stay logged in during prime hours. Simplest of which is hold W down.

A lot of games have afk kick. What the hell does it matter? What advantage is there to sitting there afk? Duty finder I can understand wanting changed so it isn't an issue, but damn, some people just want to sit afk. Why?

So how i choose to play the game angers you? I had a rational response (that your post seemed to back up). Yes, i bought and pay to play this game, you dictating to me how i should or shouldn't play it, is what the problem is.

This has probably already been said in the intervening pages, but...

The other player isn't telling you how to play, SE is. And, as per the TOS, SE can definitely tell you how to play.

The question of whether or not your selfish behavior angers another player is moot. Your "rational response" is irrelevant.
