running out of quests

OK, fairly new player (archer) here, home land Gridania. I am currently level 21 but I find myself having run out of quests in Gridania and surrounding shroud's. None of the NPC's have quests for me any more except the Leves.. I went into every area, even the high level ones but can't find a single exclamation mark.
Am I missing something? Do I have to go anywhere else? I did the quest to Ul'dah and Limsa.. What to do?

Yes.. Ul'dah and Lamo Lis, got many quest , if you miss out the main quest well, guess you miss everything

There are plenty of other ways to get xp. So tired of hearing I don't have quests to level. Quests are not required to level.

Not looking for quest to level, just wondering if it is not possible to stay in Gridania and area to continue questing. I know I can go to the other cities and find levels there but why are there no more in my area?

No you can't just stay in your "home town" for questing. You have to go all over the place.

You should also work on finishing your Main Story Quest Line that will lead you everywhere and anywhere.

Like some people already said: Just continue with your main quest. This will send you to other areas where you will find new quest-hubs.

also working on ur main quest line will unlock various dungeons n features for example mounts/grand company/dungeons etc etc :3

If you face that problem, I think you should try "FATE", "Guild Hest" and "Levequest". By the way, you may go to Limsa or Ul'Dah.
