


What makes you think that this is intended by design, and not just bad gamplay implementation by the developers? What evidence is there that the developers intentionally want to make my ability to play both mage and melee and crafter and food eater so hard?The idea was that you as Rentahamster have a certain abilities that you have trained over time, if you want to change your whole life, you can, but it will take some time. Your not meant to go from the super leet RentaGlad to super Leet RentaConjurer instantly, Like oh we got this dungeon, you go as a lancer but when we get to the boss you switch to a conjurer. You can do it, but your not better than a person who has dedicated his life to conjury. The advantage the middle guy has is that he can actually do this type of thing.
Like i said, it may dissappear but it was a completely logical move, that is quite often found in games weather it be race selection, specialization, or a merit point like system.
