I do know what I'm talking about. Seems most ppl thing the classes are jobs. Much like in ffxi. With set stats and skills. But that isn't the case as we can use our skills on any other classes just about. If you consider the classes jobs similar to ffxi, your not gonna under stand the system. Which is what happen. People are not used to a more freer set up, such as mabinogi or other stuff. They are used to a set class which have set skills which have a set role.
This isn't that type of system. Classes do not really have set skills or set roles. If they did we wouldn't have cross class abilities.


The reason why the point allotment system is a bust is due to the stat modifiers being incredibly worthless past a certain point. (Except VIT and MND due to the usefulness of HP/MP, of course.)
1->120: Increased results
[You should be able to allot an attribute in the 100-115 range in your late 30's]
121->173: Diminishing results
[ I would even go as far as saying they are significant diminishing results. Players with attributes in this range are given a placebo effect, basically.]
174 = Soft cap
[This can go higher with gear, but you will see absolutely no results]
The problem, which the Dev team is aware of btw, is that your performance can be topped off in basically your late 30's and the rest relies heavily on your rank vs mob rank. What is being worked on are the formulas for attributes and how they modify your spells and skills. Really the physical rank at a certain point is just simply a placebo, incredibly worthless, and is just a cock block to a war or magic disciple (which ever you are mainly alloted towards).
Removing the physical levels, simplifying the formulas, and letting each class allot gives this attribute system more freedom. Currently, you cannot be the ultimate this or that, but the equal this or that being how your increased attributes are giving diminishing results roughly during your mid ranks. If done correctly and balanced well enough, the attributes will be able to form your play style and stand out while doing so.

Individual point allotment for every job with 'reassign' function.. I would like that.
But I would prefer keeping the physical level and being able to save stat profiles (more than 1 per job)
More than 1 so I can play various builds of each job if I want to.
I have high hopes that the stat fixes will come with the new battle system.

Yes, but... with the new formulas this could make classes that are R1 on become too over powered. Which is why they would need to get rid of physical levels.Individual point allotment for every job with 'reassign' function.. I would like that.

Letting each class allot as they progress could prove to be much more balanced, but there is only one way of knowing....
