Why not try the Legacy Camera Mode?

Is good, yes. Takes a bit of getting used to for strafing and feels kind of weird in that you can hit things even though your back is to them (you really have to check the option to automatically face your target when using legacy movement but the animation doesn't always catch up fast enough, so it may look like you're facing away from the target and yet hitting it) - but it's huge help for getting out of death fast.

Moving with keyboard =/= turning with keyboard.

But I'll bet you're so leet you strafe with your mouse; good luck to your group if that's the case.
