Here we go again, the whole same topic with the Elins in Tera.... I hope this doesn't bring censorship/limitations etc in the future for us fellow lalafels.

SE being an Asian company (originally) and the dev team being Japanese, I really doubt it.
Bluehole had/has no balls to go with unedited Elin, that's all.

I don't think interracial is possible since we've never seen any half-blood in the game. except between sub-races like Sun and Moon Miqo'te.

In one of the 1.0 polls, there was a question which half-blood we want to see. Unsurprisingly, lala'te was a clear winner.

I was thinking the same thing, that whole massive debate turned me off from that game eventually. Players who chose Elin would constantly receive badgering in all methods of chat since the community seemed to decide they "must be closet pedos" and should have instead chosen another race(which all had massive chests except Popori whom are all male).

The problem with TERA is that it's F2P, so all sorts of immature people are playing it. I personally can't wait till the free trial period is over so that we get a natural filter working in ffxiv.

I think the difference there is that Elin (like everything else in TERA) were designed to be sexually appealing to players. They were also pretty much young human girls with animal ear/tails wearing very little, whereas Lala's aren't shaped like adolescent human females and clearly display a variety of adult personalities and professions.

Correct. The important point is though, that Elin are not shaped like children - Lalafells are much closer to children proportion-wise actually. The main reason why Westerners shouts "PEDO" at the first sign of someone preferring a petite/small chested body is because they are used to much bigger sizes, so they automatically associate a petite body with children - which isn't the case. Narrow-mindedness ignorance at it's best.
