Can we have it. Least it will stop the rmt spamming. This includes /yells also.
Good idea. yes, no?

I can't say this is a good idea. People can have legitimate conversations via those channels (although I don't see the need for a /yell and a /shout, but meh). Still, there should be some flood detection for, say more than 5 in 10 seconds leading to a time-out from the channel.
There needs to be some kinda Auto-GM Jail shout spam detection. Like using a shout too much under period of time.I can't say this is a good idea. Perhaps limit it at lower levels. If you spam 2-3 times within 10s you get a timer of some sort.
Using /shout should flag you for PVP!
That'd solve some things! (well... I'd feel better at least...)
Well, it wouldn't actually stop the shouting since you apparently can still shout while dead. It also wouldn't stop the gil seller spam in towns. Maybe we could have public executions by GMs for them? Add a "Throw Rock" action during these in-town FATEs.
I can have an entire conversation with someone in 30 seconds that involves questions, answers, followups, and clarifications.
Blist the gil spammers when you hear them. I do.
blacklist AND report them.
They like to delete and re-create characters over and over. So they get removed from the Blist every once in a while.
Well, then report them, once they start getting accounts banned, it will become too expensive for them to keep doing this. I am happy that on adamantoise, after preaching to people every time I am in a starting city, that I now hear them saying the same thing. Get them reported and off the game.
