I think its problem about network because I got this error when use Apartment Internet to update.
but it Isn't happen when I try to update from mobile phone Internet

This is happening every time there is an update for me. It does not look like an internet problem to me, it looks more like a problem when patching the launcher, for some reason the patching is not done properly. I just ran a diff on my files after the patching and the files uploaded here and this is the result:

diff boot-old/ boot-new/
Binary files boot-old/ffxivlauncher.exe and boot-new/ffxivlauncher.exe differ
Binary files boot-old/fileinfo.fiin and boot-new/fileinfo.fiin differ

For some reason, these two files are different, so there is something wrong with the launcher patching process. We should all end up with equal files, specially the .exe.

Can we please get some acknowledge from the technical team on the status of this issue?. Is it even considered an issue?. Thanks.

same for me.. I deleted all my files and now the client wont install the game for me at all... how else am I able to get the files onto my system? this happens every time with an update. but now its completely screwed me over...

Every time there's a patch and I open my updater this problem rears its ugly head. Happens every damn time. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game and everything that has been suggested online. SE please fix this, it is tiresome!

The only way to get through it is to overwrite your boot folder located at

C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\boot

with someone else's folder who has already patched succesfully.

Could anybody please upload theirs?

Thank you for the file. Every dang update I have to do this, Its updating the file now for me. I just don't understand what could be causing it. I've changed every imaginable setting even gone so far as to use my mobile internet and still get the same error. Drives me nuts. If it wasn't for generous and helpful people like you I would be screwed.
