    so I leveled to 50

    Now I am a 50 ARM. Looked at the star gear and I thought to myself sweet I can finally craft something worthwhile. Hmm have to get better crafting gear ok. Alright now I need some darksteel ore and coke. Then I figured out people could buy much better gear for what one ingot would cost me. Really wtf? Wasn't it bad enough they gave people free AF gear and made most everything I craft worthless. I can make an armorers visor and blacksmith boots. Even food sells better than anything I make. What a damned joke.

    LOL ya I figured out fast that heavy armour just doesn't sell. I would rather make BSM at least people buy my weps and tools so they don't have to travel all over to get the right leveled market

    Don't forget about those 2* crafts that require you to dump like 500k gil into gear/materia to make and are completely worthless.

    Has anyone made any 2* items before? The ones that cost 1125 to 2250 tombs for the materials?

    2 Weeks in.... You have to believe they will be adding more crafting recipes, in fact I'm sure a crafted set will come along that is better than anything else and then you'll be in a great spot. They still have to add the Crystal Tower I assume that we'll get recipes for ilevel 90 gear which require drops out of CT to complete. Give it time. Also you can craft level 45+ gear to spiritbind and break down for Materia. Materia currently sells very well on my server and is required as the first step in all Relic Weapon quests. Crit Militia Helm/Gloves/Boots are better than the free gear so if you craft those you are in a great spot tank wise. I've spent a lot of time crafting with out much but a bit of gil to show for it being both 50 LW and 50 ARM, but I know eventually the need will arise and everyone will be clamoring for the 50 ARMs.
