    Like some have stated you should get the game if you can but just keep in mind it's pretty much b2p beta. I have fun playing XIV but when it starts getting too much I just take a break since i'm not paying a sub fee anyway. The devs are working hard to improve the game and the major changes are around the corner now.

    All you need is a SE account which doesn't require you to have a FFXIV copy I believe.
