All r30-40 rings, earrings at NM

I found all rings, earrings created by GS 30-40, are dropped now at NMs with very fast pop rate, drop rate.

    This ruins
    1) gatherer, raw gems are worthless
    2) goldsmith, r.30 - he can sell all of this to npc now

I think this is not only case. NMs should be re-investigated and put into some ballance, with longer pop rate or with less % chance to get common rings, stuff. I feel these new NMs was put in the game instead of wards.

Really. You nerfed other crafters, gatherers with this.

Those rings have been worthless for a while due to raw gems being way too common. The 40+ rings are even more worthless now for the same reason. SE really needs to limit the supply of materials like this so that items have worth for longer. They also need to make the HQs useful.

What I want to know is if +3s of these items can drop? That would be very retarded.

I agree. This was one of the main bad points listed at my 1.17 NM topic.

They hurt the already weak economy (there's too few ppl playing for economy to heat up) with these finished item drops, also excluding completely from NM purpose the crafters.

They probably did it due to the lack of people making low rank equipment. But there was no need to do it for jewellery because there's always rings in the wards.

Xenor is right, there was far too few pieces of lower rank equipment and at BS prices if there was any at all. This is the players/economies fault, not SEs. Something had to be done, because if people can't get gear, people get pissed. This was NOT a nerf on crafters, this was a nerf on crafter gouging and laziness.

The majority of NM trash drops are items that are already trash though. The only reason I can figure to add gemmed jewelry as NM trash drops is because they're so poorly valued by the community that goldsmithers now just NPC any that they make, and the only reason to make a jewelled ring is for the enhanced SP over an unjewelled one.

We're not charging too much for those NM drops. It's that they're so worthless we don't even bother making them.
There are too many jewels in the economy.

There's many lower crafters who seem happy making 20k per ring however for some reason. I've recently been wondering whether to NPC all my jewels but maybe they'll add new recipes with them. These things are too common and their rarity in nodes needs increasing further. But it's too late for that I'd say. Get it right for T3 gems hopefully.

I NPCd all my T1 gems. I have 45 T2 gems left from G3 mining months ago. I just give T2 rings away at the chocobo now. Don't need the 3100 gil from NPC. Don't need the gems. Just need the 300 sp. at 50 I'll probably just NPC the NQ raws that I get and refuse to be part of the supply problem.

T3 and 4 is appropriately designed as of right now. That is, you can't mine them at all in their raw form and can only get them by HQ1,2, or3'ing quartz. Fair because you can get a ton of quartz, and it's a low-level synth.

But they'll probably screw it up and put raw rubellites straight into G6 mining, in which case I'll get rich for 4 weeks then we're back to square 1 where T3 rings are 20k each again, forever.

Not if they do it right... look how rare Dragon Obsidian is right now. They just have to set the dig rate really low. But I'm sure they will screw it up like you say.
