Small repair-without materials

No repairs should require materials. It's only another level of confusion and frustration that drives people away. The population is dwindling. Word on the street, there is only 17k people left.

repairs aren't really driving no one away, people just go to npc since have a lot of money and nowhere to spend it. Leave the troll alone lillith, belgian it's the most infamous poster here (and even in the japanese section).
Back on topic, repairing items from..the air, it's a shaky argument. repair kit it's almost the same and work better

actually the repair kit is one of the best ideas....
Here is how i see it could happen

Say you want a BSM to repair your weapon. You would go to the MW and find BSM repair kits under a new section called "repair kits" and buy them. Only a BSM can make BSM repair kits and of course the BSM would have to be the correct level to make say a lvl 30-40 repair kit.

That way we do not have to carry around 100s of different tools to repair stuff and the melees would not have to find a crafter anymore. The crafter still gets its money from selling the items on the MW and now the melee can just Search in the MW instead of shouting, bazaaring, menders ward, and hoping for a crafter to pop up. Now even when crafters are offline they can still make money from repairs! and even with the crafter offline the melees can still get the repairs they need.

Yeah I just took a look at his posts. And I will say, don't get me wrong, we all know this game has it's flaws...but we all know that, and we all know that the devs are working there tooshies off to fix it...so even though I can understand the trolls being upset...I just sometimes wish that trolls would keep their comments to themselves and let me enjoy reading on the forums T_T without running into "RAWR THIS GAME IS AWFUL BLAH GO PLAY (insert game they think is better here)" :/ Oh well!

Edit: On topic though, I prefer the mats. I would like mats to be used to repair items. I think likes others have stated, that it gives a reason for certian materials to exist and be used in the game, instead of just spamming certian items to level up and selling them off to an npc. When I craft items, I prefer to put them up for sale just in case someone could use them, that's just me though.

Also on topic this is not a good idea because DoL make money off matts... we can not kill any type of jobs bread and butter... it kills the game and the ranks people worked hard for.

Really where the link you got that information from? Stop trolling BelgianRofl leave like you said you where. Anyone who think what he said is true it's not SE wont ever release that type of information and seeing how SE took a way to see how many users are online you can't never find out how many are really still playing.

I would like this idea better if repairs were simply done away with. It's more annoying then anything.
