The Magitek mount is large and looks dumb, but at least it fits, and requires some degree of effort. I know of FFVI.

And it is a WoW clone. I loved 1.23 myself. This feels WoWified to me. Explain to me how it isn't - how isn't it more casual, nothing is rewarding, everything is handed to you with minimal effort?

Just, prior to WoW, some games had mounts, some, they were a rare, nice tihng to have. Not essential, but it was awesome to have one and other people thought so too.

Flash forward to today...like the quests, instant rewards, no effort, big payoff. "Oh, have your flashy mount that glows!"

Next thing you'll know, the Mog Station will set vanity mounts and pets.

Please stop with the negativity. That is not the point of this thread. This thread was made with sincere thanks and appreciation for what SE has kindly created, meaning the Unicorn mount. I welcome the discussion of other mount ideas for other classes as well. This is not a thread to discuss mounts in other games and how you feel this game is mimicking those games. Please keep your negative opinions to yourself and stay on topic. Thank you.
