I got my Unicorn a couple days ago, and I just want to thank you for creating such an awesome mount. While the proportions and animations may not be perfect, it is still by far the most impressive horse mount I have acquired in any MMO. I love how it moves, and looks, and it is the only mount I now use.

Here's hoping to many more magnificent equine mounts in the future! Who's to say BLM won't get a Nightmare mount? *hint hint*

I remember hearing Yoshi-P saying the whole reason they gave the mount for healers was to encourage more people to heal. And that their thinking next they need to encourage people to tank. So look forward to something for them next.

Lets not devolve this into that kind of thread. There's nothing wrong with more than one kind of mount, so long as they are just that. All they do is give players a choice of beast to ride across the countryside. It's going to take more than a selection of mounts to make this into WoW. Alot more.

MMORPGs are like that. Anyways, YOU don't have to ride anything else besides a chocobo. Why should it matter what anyone else ride?

A drake would be an apt mount for a tank class, I agree Gilraen. Something armored or scaled seems fitting. I don't know much about the bestiary, but I'm sure we can come up with more ideas ^^

yeah, i know what you mean. there should be no room for personalization! one mount only, only one suit of equipment per class, no dyes, no vanity items, we must all be cookie cutter classes. /sarcasm

You've no idea how much it pisses me off to see games where there's so many mounts. It totally breaks the immersion.

This is FF. Please keep it FF. Since WoW hit, the entire market has shifted towards it. MMO's used to be free and beautiful...now we've got this locked stuff.

This game is enough of a WoW clone as is...please stop raping it.

The Magitek mount is large and looks dumb, but at least it fits, and requires some degree of effort. I know of FFVI.

And it is a WoW clone. I loved 1.23 myself. This feels WoWified to me. Explain to me how it isn't - how isn't it more casual, nothing is rewarding, everything is handed to you with minimal effort?

Just, prior to WoW, some games had mounts, some, they were a rare, nice tihng to have. Not essential, but it was awesome to have one and other people thought so too.

Flash forward to today...like the quests, instant rewards, no effort, big payoff. "Oh, have your flashy mount that glows!"

Next thing you'll know, the Mog Station will set vanity mounts and pets.
