Emergency removal password

I just attached my old 1.0 security token I got with the CE.

So I know there's an emergency removal password that I can use to remove it from the account if I really need to.

I heard it is located "on the main page" of my square enix account. Logged into that, I don't see it anywhere.

Also heard it is located on the "one time password" page. Logged into that, don't see it anywhere.

Where is this password? I want to save it. Or how do I set it?

It gives it to you when you added it in the first place, but to get it again, just log into:

That's bizarre.

I do NOT have that emergency removal password portion that you have circled. Yet I do have the token registered and in use. I have the registration status row there with my token listed and the serial number same as yours, but NO emergency password field below it.

Mine is the physical keychain token though, not the software token. Wonder if that matters.

It took a couple of days for my removal password to show up. It seems the accounts are taking quite a while to update. Any change I make never shows the same day. If it still doesn't show up then I don't know. Just my experience.

Were you using the physical keychain type security token...or the software one?

Software one but the removal password should be generated the same way for both.

Well searches for it online have revealed multiple comments from people saying the hardware token doesn't have the emergency pass (been looking around since I made the original post).

Hopefully not the case but it's sounding like it.

I use the keychain and don't have it.
If you wanna remove it you gotta contact the support.
