    They could leave the fight scene in and just have the NPC party members jump in sooner and defend you, I agree with others though that the main story quests have been significantly dumbed down due to crafting and land classes.

    Which is kind of annoying in itself seeing as crafting classes have their own class missions anyway.

    People may think they dumbed down a LOT of this game just for gathering/crafting classes to be able to do it, but how do you explain the DOW/DOM quests being a complete joke too? I 1 shot ALL the mobs in the R36 archer quest at R36, and the quest even told me to "Bring more adventurers(lol)?". The R30 Arc quest, the R20 Arc, the R30 conj, the R30 THM, the R20 CON and the R20 THM were all just as easy, complete boring unchallenging jokes. It just doesn't add up or make any sense.

    Shiyo when you say you one shot did you mean you nocked 2 additional arrows and 3 shot the mob ?

    Yes, that's what I meant, and that shouldn't happen. The mobs gave me like 16 SP so they were like level 15 or something insanely low.

    I can kill mobs higher level than me, and around my level, why did the game give me mobs -20 to me to kil for a story quest?

    Perhaps have three main storylines from, say, rank 30 onwards? One for crafters, one for gatherers, one for battles? Not only would this make things more suitable to the relevant class, it would also give people something to do once they have leveled a class through the storyline. They can simply move on to another main storyline using a different kind of class.

    I do agree, overall, though. Something has to be done to make it more interesting.

    I need to disagree to some extent. I don't mind DoL/DoHs being actual classes, the issue is that they're able to do the main scenario missions, something that shouldn't be allowed after the tutorial missions.

    I agree, they need to up the ante on the storyline quests because they are boring as hell, the only light at the end of the tunnel are the cutscenes and sweet storyline but the actual quests suck.

    I like that there are multiple ways to complete the battle portions of main scenario quests. Though i do want them to Ramp up the difficulty of the "Brute force" options. as well as make them harder and more rewarding if you bring along friends. With out getting all spoilerish i think the r46 main scenario quest is probably the coolest fight currently in the game and its the perfect example of multiple solutions to the same problem with out having to resort to a card game. If we see more fights like that going forward i would be one happy man.

    I have to agree with this. Just playing the game I can say I feel the current concept doesn't work. I think there should be main DoW / DoM and the missions should correspond with that. In my opinion, crafters and gather's can't really be equal to DoW and DoM's simply because they are too different. They do completely different things. I think the rank quests, guildleves, tasks are adequate for crafters/gathers. I think they should drop crafters and gather's from main storyline missions and make synthing/gathering faster so it is not as time consuming.

    I would almost wager that if they tried to make crafters into a battle class, they would either devolve into "buff bots" or be numerically mediocre at a role at best.
