Daily Quests - Gil Making

So,question.
Do you think Square Enix will implement any sort of daily quest?
Atm we have allowances, but as ive read they don´t give much gil.
So, in order to generate gil. Daily quest.
Say it gives 5k in a hub area.
In order to make it easy for everyone have it like a duty. That way nobody can attack the mob for your daily. Gil gets generated and everyone is happy.

Or is this all planned for 2.1 with a reputation system as well?

Daily quests are comming in 2.1 iirc, Yoshida has already explained a bit about them:

Daily quests will be used to expand on the story behind the beast tribes in the world. The quests will explain motivation, lifestyle, and various other factors related to what certain groups are doing in Eorzea. And of course there will be item rewards that aren't available elsewhere.

Yep, I remember reading that. Which I think is annoying and a bit of a mistake. Why bother to implement a brand new system instead of just fixing and expanding the current one? Levequests have a ton of potential (just like in 1.0), but they're being horribly underutilized.

Well, 6 leves nets you 3k gil each day... They are also reducing repair costs after maintenance, so gil should not be in shortage anymore.

I utilize mine all the time, but I only use them for crafting and gathering. Burning allowances on DoW/DoM jobs just seems like an utter waste at the moment, especially given fates require less interaction with larger rewards and no limits.

I dunno man, you can get like 3 or 4k gil from 1 leve..

I don't think they made the only currency achievements -money from leves- just for fun.

I've already got On the Payroll IV and was doing mostly level 20 leves, so thats 100k I've alone produced for the lovely people of Goblin server to throw at each other.
