For the same reason Xmbei won't stop rambling on about how annoying roleplayers are in a thread has nothing to do with roleplaying.

We want to talk about it. Because the developers did not 'shoot down the idea', or categorically deny it. They said they were not considering it at this time.

Sure that's developer talk for 'probably never' but that doesn't mean nobody should be allowed to talk about it, or even sit on the faint hope someone'll reconsider. Honestly if it's so annoying seeing us natter on, why not wander off to another thread?

Wrong I said some roleplayer's are annoying not all. Also It has everything to do with Roleplayer's in this thread because it is Roleplayer's in the majority that want the chat bubbles... read whole thread before you make a comment about that maybe you missed that part on which it was stated

Yeah yeah I edited that to be a bit less abrasive above but..

And sure, some people would prefer it for roleplay purposes, but so far as I'm conserned the roleplay angle's a lucky side effect and has very little to do with the topic at hand. I've held preference for them since long before I took up roleplay and I put zero weight in their necessity for it. They just make it a damn sight easier to see who the hell is talking and have the side benefit of making the world look a bit less dead.

And the whole thread? Seriously? It's fifteen pages long, you think I really have that sort of time? Either you have an awful lot of time on your hands or you're just like me and most others - read the opening post or three then catch up on the end.

Anyway whatever, this thread's obviously turned nasty so.. I'm out.
