A question about switching between SMN/SCH and the Int/Mind issue.

So I leveled my ACN to 30 and of course grabbed both SMN and SCH. However, I'm having a little trouble figuring out what to do. With SMN being a dps role and relying more on INT and SCH being a healer role that relies on MND, where are we supposed to allocate our points?

So my question stands, where are you supposed to allocate mind for SCH and SMN? It doesn't make sense that they would force you to reset stats every time you switched between the two jobs.

Surely this can't be the only solution.

It is. Pick a class, and stat accordingly.

I'm maining scholar for dungeons and group content, with SMN for soloing etc. So I put all my points in MND, and don't give a crap if my summoner has a bit slower dps when I'm soloing. It's all you can do.

It will be less of an oddball later I assume when more than one class has multiple jobs, and you'll have to stat accordingly. As of now, arcanist is the only class with multiple jobs like this.

Do like some people that like switching between and go 10 int;10 mnd;10 vit/pie or go 15 int;15 mnd. You can also go full int or full mnd. Not going to be a huge numbers difference.

I usually go 1 int for a point then 1 mind for a point works well, plus switching between int/mind gear for the respective class will even things out. I don't wear int gear on my sch or mind gear on my smn
