What peak time are you talking about anyways? Oh I guess US. Well, there's a world outside USA you know, and for once I'm happy the way it is now for EU. Deal with it.

They're complaining about the NA times. Servers went down at 5pm PST (or 8PM for east coast). Which is when everyone gets home from work/after-school activities/dinner etc and is our prime time.

I also agree with the split maintenance times. It really is the way to go for international games. Have NA's servers drop in the early morning hours instead. Would only work if they have different teams working on it though, if there's just one group, I'd feel crummy making them work 10-12 hour days.

Honestly. Suck it up and find something else to do. You can survive a night without FFXIV like the rest of us.

And when, exactly, are the guys and gals doing the maintenance supposed to sleep? Or do you expect SE to eat the expense of hiring a whole other team just to do maintenance on the EU/NA servers? Seriously guys, it's only one day a week. I don't know about you guys, but I used the time to get some cleaning done and catch up on the week's television. Even did a little exercise. I feel the time was well spent.

Tonight though.... It's all about the game time. I may not even eat.

I already made a topic about this and I agree completly, servers are defined as JP, EU or NA they should do servers at different times accordingly, It's really going to suck long term if they take the servers down during NA prime time on NA servers if that's one of my scheduled raid times, they should really do each regions updates during that regions down time not peak hours.

NA is more than USA dumbass... actually is a bigger community than EU.... so yes!! we can complain about this. We are paying a service so they need to fix their logistics before screwing our gaming. I know SE is not charging right now but they will... so figuring how to run their maintenances will be awesome.

And this is not a matter of finding something else to do...
