    Eye for an Eye ACN skill.. needs upgrade.

    So Eye for an Eye is great, I mean its 30 seconds of 10% damage reduction, but... it only works 20% of the time. Even as a solo skill for an ACN pet thats of marginal benefit, and as a cross skill (getting it for BLM) it makes almost no sense as its primary purpose would be boss ult. AOE avoidance. Assuming 1 hit every 1-2 seconds from a mob, that means on average you're only blocking 10% of possibly 3-6 normal attacks, or a special or crit if you're really lucky. All together, that means that you're effectively blocking between 30-60% of a single normal attack with a 3 minute CD.

    Anyone else see this as overly gimped? It seems either the boost needs to trigger for all attacks at 10% reduction, or be a 100% block for 20%, but as it stands now I don't even know what to make of it. Maybe if it was an all-party boost I could see it being more acceptable as the probability of it triggering on someone would increase dramatically, but... yeah.

    Thoughts, peoples?

    I agree that it just should be 100% if mob hits you , they have 10% reduced dmg. Noone likes rng. They could even change the effect/spell name because it doesn't sound like an eye for an eye at all.

    There are other abilties that give damage reduction that aren't rng . Such as sacred soil and rain fo death.

    IKR, "Eye for an Eye" implies some kind of retribution spell where you'd reflect damage back or something. I don't think SE has quite figured this ability out yet...

    This thread should be moved to Healer forum.

    I have no issues with the spell. The boss gets a debuff with 10% damage reduction, you don't think that is a reasonable effect on a reasonable timer?

    Blackmage and WHM too, I think the trait that buffs it for arcanist should buff it's damage reduction to 20%.
