Would love something along these lines. I put it over in the suggestions area, but for now, feel free to use it as a quick reference if you think it would help you.

I like both suggestions.
I think neither would be necessary if the maps themselves were less confusing. Why can't there just be A map? singular? that you can zoom in and out of, scroll around, look from zone to zone without loading so many other maps?
If I could look at a big map, find a quest objective, look for the nearest town, THEN pull up the teleport menu, I'd already know which town/nation I wanted to go to. or even better yet, if I could pick a town directly from that map and click on the town with a crystal and pick "teleport now" I wouldn't even need a second menu.
YES! Exactly, this would eliminate so much confusion. It's like they expect you to memorize what landmark is in what region, and sometimes I pull it off but not every time.
the same for town teleporting ... I'd like to know which Gate leads where before I teleport out..
This is BOSS!
Level brackets would be nice too, it's annoying trying to figure out where to go to either level something, especially gathering classes.
Being able to click a crystal on the map to be able to teleport there would be nice too, mostly just convenience if you're looking at the map anyway.
Perhaps also an icon denoting where you have quests to do? Then you can just get on with teleporting instead of having to check the Journal!

I know I have spent a couple thousand gill accidentally clicking on the wrong line. I would love it if the game asked you for confirmation before spending 500 gil.
Definitely agree that the user interface could be much clearer as well.
Seems like I'm not the only one that has teleported to the wrong place before, nice user interface suggestion![]()
