Constant Lag that makes game unplayable

Essentially i have having a 2-5 second delay every 30 seconds whenever i play ARR. It makes the game (as the title suggests) unplayable. Can someone please help me do whatever i need to do to make this run smoothly, as i really would like to not consider this a $50 loss.

I dont know where to start so if i can get a tech support to give some ideas i would greatly appreciate it.

Without knowing what kind of system you have there's no way to help you.

Check anything driver related or even try disabling your antivirus. There may be something that runs every 30s that freezes your pc.

What kind of information do you need? I have a windows 7. AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1055T Processor (6 CPUs), ~2.8GHz, 8192MB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series, No antivirus running.

The fact that this is a lag problem and not an FPS problem suggests loss of info from your PC to the host server. How often is this problem? all the time? peak times? day,night?

I am playing on Ps3 and it has been happening to me during Fates but yesterday it even happened during boss fight in the GC dungeon . It also happened to the entire group as we all noticed when the monster AEO and we died without notice.

This is something that happens at all times. I suspect my isp is really the problem but i thought maybe if i asked you guys on the forums if you know of any fixes for my router or computer that can maintain a stronger steam of packets then that would be a good way to start.

I wish it was as easy as going to my isp and telling them to stop the throttlin'!

i know everyone is trying to help but there is already 15 threads on this issue. There is nothing you can do, if u lag, u lag. Until SE decided to fix the way things are routed on the network you will continued to lag.

I have the same issue.

It's not the computer that freeze.
Your action animation is visible, but other objects states are not updated (mob HP, party player HP).
Clearly the server doesn't send the world status update.

When will SE place the EU server in Europe ?????
