actually no it's not at all. If the scholar can't keep the tank up, it's probably the tank. And no, in a group people work together to keep the team up. So when you have a thought, let it go.

1: You clearly just said you would never micro manage the fairy, which is what keeps a SCH from being a gimp WHM
2: You're not 50, and your experience goes as far as brayflox's longstop, a 4 man level 32-34 duty, which is easy as hell, especially for a SCH.

And you've made it apparent that you don't know what you're talking about, you may micro manage your fairy, but I never have had to. I don't think not micro-managing Eos makes a scholar a gimp. Fairies contain 4 of your spells each, esp. the white one. Until fairy UI and AI are fixed (for god know when given SE's history), at the very lest you should be able to move it to a good place on the field and manually embrace a target (or the tank) when needed, or else all you are left at 50 is a puny shield/heal AoE, cure 1 & improved cure 2 and a huge mana bar which you dont know what to do with.

If you consider my post insulting you, why didnt you think twice before posting #82?

In no game I ever played I needed not to micromanage my pets/units to maximize a summoner-type character's potential. This game is no difference, esp. when all fairy spells are on long-ass CD and, from the look of it, supposed to make up for your character's limitation (such as no reliable AoE heal). The very first thing I tinkered with fairies were trying to put them on total manual ... and how utter disappointed I was T_T

Its pet placement/management that seperates the Bad SCH's from the good.

4 mans? I can cleric stance and DoT up trash while fairy heals.

Boss fights? I can position Eos, use Rouse and activate Whispering Dawn when I want it so everyone in grp recievies Regen. (Demon Wall in AK when Bees spawn helps)

When the group has 4 physical DPS, I can position Selene and use Fey Light and not have her override it with Fey Glow as soon as its cast.

If you dont manage your fairy, you'll never reach your potential.
