    This pretty much sums it up - I can harvest flax well into excess, but fleece? Not happening. Two people with good reflexes can pretty much claim ALL the Karakul spawns on their own. Diremites are slightly more spread out (in that there are three points, rather than two), but it's still pretty bad.

    I don't think this is a totally unreasonable request. There's a lot of open space in Coerthas to add more sheep if it's too, for "realistic" sake, unlikely find balls of wool in a harvesting point. However if I can find a cocoon from a mob that doesn't even exist in the game I think I can find a web from one that does in a random bush.

    I have to agree its driving me crazy when I need to go farm HQ mats and there's a bunch of ppl farming it too either for mats as well or for quests. Not only do they need to add a few more spawning areas I also thin they should bring back quest mobs like they had in 1.0

    They don't drop anything and give crap xp, they are specifically for the quests. That way ppl can farm mats & others can do their quests without having to compete.

    Who the heck tought this was a good idea to have mob drop Main crafting material? Node i get, but 6-7 mobs outside a camp where people fate farm. And you need this all the way to 50.

    Make Fleece on a node not a monster drop! Or make more mobs drop them, how am i suppose to level weaver when there is 50 other people trying to kill a mob at the same time?

    Oh, do it during the night duh. Still people there! And some people gotta work, that leaves some people at 4 hours during peek times. Which is 6-10. Then there is more people there!

    They should just create a new gathering class for monsters. Like zooligist or biologist. Or something. Can use shears and taxidermy knife as its tools. Then just spawn corpses to gather from in the level appropriate area. (or happy little monster that don't need to be killed for their wool/feathers/eggs). And if they want to limit the influx of items just make longer respawn of the critters. Then also add a chance for all uncommon trade items to drop from monsters, so you can either kill for random drops or harvest specific ones.

    Starting to see more and more threads being started about fleece problems. Would really help add more sheep. Had someone competing against me last night while I was trying to farm and actually started calling me vulgar names because he was trying to make money.

    group up with others farming fleece or other materials. All in the party can receive drops and you won't have to fight over spawns.

    Sheep brush up against bushes and leave wool on it. All that needs to be done is add bushes with fleece for botany.

    Primary crafting materials should always be on nodes, not on mobs. Weaving and leatherworking both have serious issues in this regard.

    If they want to put secondary materials on mobs that's... ok, although still not great, but at least that spreads people out some. The current system just promotes massive overpopulation for farming a very limited number of NPCs - a good chunk of which aren't even tradecrafters, they're just farming the stuff to sell on the market.

    Honestly, I like that it's contested. It creates demand based on something other than laziness and promotes DoW/M farming as a viable path to wealth.

    For the still-leveling weavers out there, you can still level efficiently (and cheaply) on hemp>cotton>linen. Diremite webs and fleece are simply mats that aren't going to be viable to level up on, but are still plentiful enough for those crafting gear.

    Having said that, botters are becoming an issue at the Banemite spawns on my server. While I don't think the number of spawns should be increased, I do think that adding a FATE to the area could really hurt the simplistic, keyspam botters.
