    1. I expected it to be full on DD, as it specialised and a semi-ranged attack I expected the downside of the damage aspect would be it's defence. I was right.

    2. It is so much more than a "click and melee" job, the TP abilities of LNC make it one of the best DPS classes in game with excellent support buff and enemy enfeeble abilities. I think this actually makes it harder/more exciting to play (I hear a lot of people complain Lancer gets boring - I don't think they fully appreciate what it can do). I genuinely think LNC's main handicap is the stamina bar(!) - so you have to be clever with how you play it.

    3. I'm looking forward to the class redefinitions that will hopefully bring abilities like Collusion into play. LNC can generate enormous enmity very quickly and I want to plant that on the conjurer, er, I mean tank. The battle mechanics just now (with the exception of Roaming NMs) means the abilities like this can be forgotten as they really aren't needed. I'd love jump too (I know LNC isn't DRG), but i think it would be really cool.

    Agreed Grundy, LNC has some great WS damage and by far the most TP and stamina to burn.

    Like any build you definitely need to use, and time, all your self buffs (cross-class too) during burn phases.
