There is little incentive for now because we still have not obtained the 2nd Jobs for Gladiator, Pugilist, Marauder, Lancer, Archer, Conjurer, and Thaumaturge yet.
Also, as level cap increase we can expect more cross-skills that are in higher level of the classes which may be very handy for Jobs and classes that will use those cross-skills.
and there is still the arrive of Musketeer and the two jobs that class will have as well.
ya but they're more like professions you do in any other MMO to make things and get rich by selling stuff you get from them.
Same old method of crafting and gathering stuff for leveling them but with the addition of large amount of exp from leves and GC supplies.
Nope. If anything, the DoH/L skills are more complex than the simple combat in the battle classes. DoH/L are full and complete classes with their own stats, own gear, and you need to be thoughtful if you want to be any good. Sure, just like any battle class such as dragoon, you can play while being a complete noob. Crafting is no different. Unless wasting money, ingredients, time, and creating low quality stuff is fine, you need to actually play them.
It's not like any other professions from other MMOs.
