People have skipped work to level to 50 and complain about leveling speed. Then they hit 50 and speed run everything and even complain if /gasp you watch a cinematic. I've even seen people say stuff like "looking for x class, must know fight and be geared" wtf? Really? I hope this isn't the crowd that influences the game's direction. I left WoW because of that kind of mentality. Let's play the game for what it is and not change it to MMO's we just left.

That laughable because they still need to level the remaining 7 class to lvl 50 before they're actually done.

A lot of players are from WoW and expect the mentality for endgame to be the same...I'm sorry I like to take my time exploring and enjoying the game for what it is

A MMO Is what YOU Make of it, stop worrying about what other people do and require, and go out and find friends with the same play-style and mentality as you!

What you are complaining about is dumb, as really, you are expecting the exact same from those people. Expecting them to play how you do, and cater to your gear level, and play style.

The less time you spend caring about what other people are doing you dont agree with and more time finding a decent bunch of people the more fun you will have...

Content locust, it is what they are called. Jumping from any new big named mmo and rushing content, then complains, then moves to the next mmo.

XI was never like this, at least not on the server I played. But the MMO genre is very different now.

For stuff like hard primals you do have to be geared and know the fight in order to actually do well. Well Ifrit hard really isn't that big of a deal , but the other two can be painful if people don't know what they're doing in it. Worse if they can't get past the DPS barriers.

But knowing the fight is as simple as watching a video, I actually wound up in a party with the party leader asking people to watch videos if they could while we waited on filling up the party. Even after that we still went over everything before starting.

What you're seeing is just the people who made it to the milestone of 50 + gear first and are trying to find people who will make what they're doing less stressful.

I ignore the shouts. granted my highest level is currently 26 and I'm not even working on the class I plan on playing most... but one day, one day I'll have an end-game-ready whitemage and they will bow to me.
well.. they won't, because they're most likely on my blacklist.
